I'm writing an article on freeganism and was doing some research on Wikipedia. ( I know...not the best place to do research, but it's a start.) While scanning the definition, I noticed that the period was placed outside the quotation mark at the end of the sentence. This is one of my biggest pet peeves. Unless you're British, keep your punctuation inside the quotes.
Here's a website with some of the other differences between American and British grammar.
